Visit the USS Midway
The USS Midway offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore a historic aircraft carrier. During the 20th century, the USS Midway was the longest-serving aircraft carrier, named after the Battle of Midway in June 1942. Midway was built in 17 months and commissioned on September 10th, 1945, missing World War II by only one week. It was one of the first carriers that featured an armored flight deck with a powerful group of 120 planes.
