At the top of our list of events to check out this month is the nighttime zoo at the San Diego Zoo. Del Mar Racing Season
Another popular event that's happening this month in San Diego is the annual Del Mar Racing competition. This horse racing tradition began back in 1937 and has the remained a beloved San Diego event each summer. We are currently in the middle of the season as it began back in July and will run through until early September. The event takes place where the "turf meets the surf" at the Del Mar Racetrack. Each summer, enthusiastic fans gather at the track to place bets on their beloved horses during the widely celebrated event.
